Important Information About The Training Implementation Camp

  • The Coaching Essentials program is supported by live and interactive training sessions so that you learn how to implement the coaching resources and techniques.
  • These sessions are designed to help you integrate, practice, and deepen your knowledge of the coaching theory you learn and how it applies to real-life coaching situations.
  • The calls will be on a recurring 8-week timetable, so you can join the live workshops when you are ready. 
  • ​You’ll receive a link to a Google Calendar, from which you can select the times and dates that work best for you and your time zone. 
  • ​In addition to the set coaching practice and observation sessions, you’ll also have the opportunity to work in practice pod triads with other coaches in the group, supported by our practice pod worksheets and guidelines.
  • You are also supported with the opportunity to submit questions for our weekly Q&A session.
💡IMPORTANT! To obtain a certificate you must:
  • Complete all the video training
  • ​Successfully complete mini knowledge checks after each module
  • ​Achieve a pass for one coaching observation session*
  • submit a coaching reflection worksheet for your observed session
  • ​submit one coaching reflection log
*Attend as many workshops as you like during your 6 months of access to practice so you're prepared.
How does the certification work?
Upon successfully completing the Coaching Essentials Certification
program, you will earn two globally recognized certifications through the multi-accredited
Mindset Coach Academy.

You will be awarded a Level 3 Coaching Certification accredited by the Association of
Counsellors, Coaches, Psychotherapists and Hypnotherapists (ACCPH) for completing the
Coaching Essentials Program and also gain 20 ICF Continuing Coach Education credits
(CCEs) from the International Coaching Federation for completing our newest accredited
coaching module focusing on the Coaching Mindset.
What does this mean in practice?
1. When you successfully complete the program, you will gain certifications from two
globally recognized coaching industry organizations and the world’s leading provider
of comprehensive Mindset Coach Certification.


2. You can register as a Member of the ACCPH (£45 annually) and be added
to their coaches' directory. You can continue to gather and log your 100 coaching
hours and work towards becoming an Accredited Member. You will have gained the equivalent of a Coaching Diploma Level 3


3. You can use your Coaching Essentials Certification towards your ICF ACC
application in the portfolio route. For this level of accreditation, you will also need to:
>> have accrued and logged 100 coaching hours from the end of your first coach
training
>> Complete a closed-book exam
>> Participate in 7 hours of mentor coaching and 3 hours of 1:1 mentor coaching
>> Complete and have a recording of your coaching assessed by an accredited
assessor.


We provide this for you as the next step if you wish to continue your coach training. We also
offer a modular approach so that you can obtain additional coach education credits with us
– tailored to your specific niche and professional development needs.


4. If you are already ICF certified as either an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) or Professional Certified Coach (PCC), you can use the ICF CCEs towards your credentialing renewal.

 For context, The Mindset Coach Certification is 158 ICF CCEs.

Remember, this is a certification for coaches who are yet to be credentialed and want to
build their coaching competence and confidence.


How is the course run?
The program balances theory and action by combining self-paced videos and exercises with
live, interactive training where you will practice and hone your skills. You’ll receive feedback
and have the opportunity to learn by coaching, being coached and observing others.
We offer live sessions across time zones and you can participate in one or more of the
sessions for each module – plus as many practice pod sessions as you like.


By immersing yourself in this learning experience, you’ll not only gain personal and
professional development, you’ll also benefit from being part of a cohort of coaches who are
committed to coaching.

Who created the 
coaching essentials program?

Lara Young is a  Master Coach and Coach Trainer, Founder of the Mindset Coach Academy, and Co-Founder of The Mindset Dimensions Diagnostic Report. I’ve been coaching, mentoring and training coaches for over 30 years globally. After 20 years in the UK, she recently moved back across the world to her home country, Australia. 7 ½ years ago, she founded the Mindset Coach Academy, addressing the need for a robust mindset coaching toolkit and mindset dimension report.

The UK is where Lara met Rebecca Bradley, who's also been coaching for over 20 years. Rebecca is a Masters Level Chartered Fellow of the CIPD. She’s coached corporate brands and CEOs across many industries to implement profitable business and people strategies.

Both teamed up to make their experience and tools even more accessible and create an ultimate coaching success framework focusing on confidence, competence, and credibility. That's how their membership, the Coaches Success Society was born.

Q: What do I need to do to get certified?

Q: How do I prepare so I can pass the coaching observation?
During your six months of access, you can attend as many practice workshops as you like to prepare for the coaching observation session.

Q: What if I can't make it live?
You need to attend and pass one coaching observation, which you have 6 months to do. The schedule is rolling, with many opportunities. If you can't attend live training sessions, please use the replays to prepare for your observation session.

Q: What does the live schedule look like?
We recognize that coaches are joining us from all over the world. For this reason, we have developed a call schedule that allows everyone to participate live. You have 6 months from the date you join to complete the program.

Q: I've seen many coaching programs out there. What makes this one stand out?

Q:  I'm still unclear as to whether one would be considered a 'certified coach' after successfully completing this program. If so, what exactly is the certification?
A: You can call yourself a Certified Coach after the program. You will have completed the Coaching Essentials Certification Program.

A: Not at all! We've tailored our program to cater to both complete beginners and self-taught coaches. Our goal is to provide the tools, knowledge, and confidence necessary to thrive in the coaching world, regardless of your starting point.

Q: With the program starting soon, what if I can't keep up?
A: While the program has a set start date, the beauty of our approach is its blend of structured modules and live support. This ensures that even if you fall behind, there's a community and mentorship available to help you catch up and stay on track. You have access to the lessons and resources in the modules also after the live coaching camp. You have a total of 6 months after you sign up to complete your certification.
